More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a nanny for a family friend for 3 years. I have babysat all of my aunts friends children (6 different families). I worked with children with mental health disabilities for 1 year. I have worked in 2 different gyms with kidcare and frequently go in there to connect with all the children and families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
EVERYTHING! I am a child at heart! So anything between watching a movie to going on an adventure outside! I love to be outside and I am a very high energetic person so I enjoy doing physical activities with children (ie. Jumping on the trampoline, gymnastics, sporting events).
The most important part about being a nanny...
Teaching children how to be good people while having fun doing it! I always make sure to have fun with every child but during challenges, make sure I am there to support them and help them through that challenge. The most important part is to teach by example and providing an outlook for the children to be themselves while also learning through their mistakes. One of my favorite parts of being a nanny is seeing the creative side of every child and watching them push boundaries. That sounds crazy but that is where the learning happens and seeing them grow into great people is the most rewarding thing to me.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked with 18 families of inner city Milwaukee for a year and a half as a social worker. Ages 4-25.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I met two girls (ages 1 and 3) at the gym I worked at and I have absolutely LOVED watching them grow! They are now ages 4 and 6! We have had so many fun times together like our shopping sprees at target, playing on the trampoline doing gymnastics, going to Disney on ice, and they were my flower girls for my wedding! Whenever I get to see them they are just a bundle of joy! My favorite memory with them is dancing the night away with both of them at my wedding! They were the perfect flower girls and truly were mini me! It was one of the most special moments of my wedding and my life ❤️
