More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to nannying and babysitting, I’ve gained experience working with children through my education studies and community involvement. While pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, I’ve completed classroom observation hours in local elementary schools where I assisted teachers with small group activities, reading practice, and classroom organization.
I’ve also volunteered at youth programs and summer activities where I helped supervise children, organize games and crafts, and support a positive learning environment. These experiences have helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to connect with kids of different ages and personalities.
Working with children has always been something I’ve been passionate about, and I enjoy helping them feel supported, confident, and excited to learn.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy planning a mix of fun and engaging activities that keep children active and learning. For indoor activities, I love doing arts and crafts, reading together, puzzles, building with blocks or Legos, baking simple recipes, and educational games that help with creativity and problem solving.
For outdoor time, I enjoy taking kids to local parks and playgrounds, going on nature walks, playing sports or yard games, riding bikes or scooters, and doing seasonal activities like sidewalk chalk, scavenger hunts, or water play in the summer.
Since I’m studying elementary education, I also enjoy incorporating light learning activities like reading practice, creative storytelling, and hands-on projects that make learning fun.
My goal is always to create a safe, positive environment where kids can have fun, explore their interests, and feel supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I believe in building trust, encouraging curiosity, and helping kids grow both emotionally and academically. I love being able to support their development while also making sure they feel cared for, understood, and have fun throughout the day.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience supporting children with a variety of different needs, including ADHD and mild learning differences. In those situations, I focus on creating structured routines, clear communication, and a calm, supportive environment that helps children feel comfortable and confident.
Through my studies in Elementary Education, I’ve also learned about different learning styles and ways to adapt activities to meet each child’s needs. I’m patient, attentive, and always work closely with parents to make sure I’m supporting their child in the way that works best for them.
I’m open to learning more about each child’s individual needs and am happy to follow any specific routines, strategies, or guidance provided by parents or specialists.

One child I cared for learned to read and insisted on reading every sign we passed. It was adorable.
