My favorite moment I've had while babysitting was when my 4 year old neighbor was throwing a tantrum for 40 minutes because I asked her to lay down and watch a movie. It was 10 o'clock at night and time for bed, but she wasn't having it. Tantrums are something I usually handle well, I just wait until they are ready to calm down. Harsh punishment just makes things worse. Children throw tantrums, it's life. I'm there to enjoy these little experiences with them, and encourage them to understand the reason we must do things, and hopefully help them learn from it.

They moved out of the area so they no longer needed a nanny which is why my job had ended.
Formerly, I had nannied for a family in Piney Flats who had boy/girl twins who were 1 years old and a 5 year old boy for 3 years and my job had ended as well due to the twins starting school.
In between positions for a short period of time, I nannied for newborn boy twins overnight but this position was only temporary to help the parents get through the newborn stage.
Here is a little bit about myself. I love the outdoors tremendously: biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing & camping as well as photography, scrap booking, animals, horseback riding, exploring and learning new things. I also love to read, sing, do crafts and be creative with the kids in exploring new ideas and learning new things within our environment.
