The most important thing is making sure the child you care for no matter where you are or what you are doing is that child is safe, of course having fun and learning things on the way is always a primary goal safety is the number one key to happy healthy child.

Autism, Down syndrome, paralyzed children, asbergers, seizures, asthma, Huntington's, I have had my share of what I prefer to call different abilities rather than disabilities and have learned quite a bit at the characters my kids can be always making me smile uncontrollably with their fun loving ways.

I was about 14 the girl I cared for was 12 mentally she was 2 due to a brain injury from a car accident when she was 2 also paralyzed on her left side I have been caring for her at this point almost 3 years when I final realized how much I enjoyed helping people she’s the reason I still to this day care for others adult children and the elderly if I can’t make my kids or patients smile I’m not doing something right but I can assure you I always make them smile even the hardest ones to crack and for some weird reason they all love me and become like family to me even if they have to move on from to more care or they just are to old for me now and don’t need me anymore. They still remain part of my life always. And in ky heart forever
