Hello :) I’m haley, i am 20 years old. i was in childcare (working at daycares) for a little 3 years and loved the kids!! but i feel like nannying would be a better fit for me with where i’m at now. i graduated in 2021, i’m not going to school at the moment, just working. I’ve taken child development classes and am CPR certified. i’ve also have taken a few other early education classes required for the daycare, so have a lot of experience in that area as a whole. i have a very open and freelance schedule. i would love to find a nice job, with a nice family that pays well. let me know if you have any other questions :)

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

daycare teacher for ages 1-5, we also had a schoolers room which is for elementary kids and i worked with them as well. i was in the childcare industry for a little over 3 years. I have a total of 12 nieces and nephews, so I grew up helping take care of them and still babysit some of them occasionally.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

sensory boxes, motor skills, simple, but cute crafts. tapping into my inner child and playing with them using our imaginations. going to the park or splash pads, and going on nature walks as a scavenger hunt for the kids to look for different animals and bugs.

My experience with special needs children...

In high school i worked with my peers with special needs during school hours. I loved it! I also have a nephew who has Down Syndrome, so I would say I have some experience in that area, but there’s always room to learn and grow.
