A little bit about me

My name is Haley and I’m a long-term kauai resident, (originally born in Washington), who graduated from UCSC with a bachelors in creative writing. I’m also an avid surfer/hiker/free diver who has been a nanny off and on for 6-8 years (combined). I am the second oldest of 7 with a big age gap so from the age of 9-17 I helped raise all of my younger siblings. I also constantly babysat for other families from 13 to 18, and nannied for two families during college. With this being said, I have lots and lots of experience with kiddos, from infancy and beyond:) I want to nanny again because I think being a part of a child’s life is an honor and privilege, and very meaningful work. I also think I’m pretty naturally good with kids and a good role model on how to be kind to yourself and each-other in this crazy world.
