A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Hannah, and I have a passion for working with children of all ages. I’ve been in childcare for about 3 years, starting as a church daycare teacher working with 2-year-olds and later expanding to care for children from newborn through 8 years old.

I am certified in Adult, Child, and Infant First Aid/CPR/AED, ensuring safety is always a top priority. In addition, I had the opportunity to spend two years working with a special education class of students ages 11–15, which was such a rewarding and meaningful experience.

As a nanny, my goal is to support parents in any way I can while building a fun, safe, and loving relationship with the children I care for. I truly enjoy helping little ones grow, learn, and feel supported every step of the way.

If you are looking for someone reliable, caring, and enthusiastic, I would love the chance to meet you and your family.

My experience with special needs children...

My Experience with Special Needs Children
I had the opportunity to work for two years in a special education classroom with students ages 11–15. During that time, I supported children with a variety of needs, including developmental delays, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges. I assisted with daily routines, social skill building, and academic support, while also encouraging independence and celebrating each child’s unique strengths.

This experience taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment. I truly enjoyed building connections with each child and discovered a deep passion for working with children of all abilities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when I helped a little one who was shy and nervous about being away from their parents. Over time, through fun activities, patience, and lots of encouragement, I watched them grow more confident and excited for our time together. The day they ran up to me with a big hug and said, “I’m so happy you’re here!” reminded me why I love this work so much. Moments like these — when children feel safe, happy, and cared for — are what make being a nanny so rewarding for me.
