The first time I worked with children, it was at a children's library for their summer activity program. After that, I taught beginner art at an art studio, while I was also a teacher's aide at an elementary school for two years!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing activities that encourage children to be creative, such as arts and crafts, baking, or even just playing pretend. Reading with/to children is also something important to me, as I love to read and enjoy cultivating that in other children. I also enjoy watching movies and shows with them. While watching movies and TV with kids is usually considered a lazy activity that doesn't require much engagement, I like to use those opportunities to encourage their critical thinking skills by discussing the movie and asking their opinions!
