As far as experience, before coming to Wilmington, I had a pretty steady babysitting job with some family friends. They had 3 kids; two younger girls and and older boy. Also, over this summer I started what we called a covid camp with 3 boys who were going a little stir crazy in their houses. The youngest I have watched over was an 11 month old girl so I do have some experience with infant nannying. I will also add that I have experience with Conscious Discipline techniques because my mom is one of their master trainers. I have attended multiple summer training sessions and learned useful skills that I implement in my care. I believe in recognizing the child’s needs and taking steps to work through any emotions that come up.
