Hi! I’m Hannah! I’ve always loved working with kids, they are so full of joy and innocence and have this way of lighting up even the darkest rooms. I like to be able to talk through stuff with kids, listen to their feelings and let them know they have value. I like to be gentle and calm but can be firm when needed. I’m hands on, I like to take the kids outside to play, on walks, read stories to them, color with them, take them to the library, etc. I also like to let them have some independent play so they can have that independence and learn to do things on their own as well. I like to have a balance. I have 3 years of experience working as the 3 year old teacher at a daycare, and one more year of experience as a nanny to three amazing kids!

I was nannying for this 1 year old, one day she was just not napping like she normally does, so I went to the room and was laying down with her on the chair in her room trying to get her to fall asleep. She was resting but never feel asleep, near the end, she started grabbing my face and saying “Hannah, Hannah” in her little voice. And then she’d laugh like it was the funniest thing ever.
