"Hannah took great care of our son, reading to him, playing with him, and looking after him. Her daughter was a fun and entertaining play companion for him. Hannah herself was always courteous, punctual, and communicative, and we really appreciated having her around to help."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’m the best mother I can be to my 7 year old who’s a well behaved, caring, and intelligent child.
I’ve been a nanny both for part-time and full-time hours for 6 years straight; keeping full time hours primarily.
I babysat so many children from the age of 13 until 18 without training. Over the years I have studied child psychology and behavioral psychology. I have learned a lot caring for my own child. She is the sweetest girl.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing whatever activities are approved by the child or children’s parents. Some activities would include singing, reading, jumping on a trampoline, going to the park, library or splash pad, cleaning up and making it a fun game, drawing with chalk, playing with bubbles, puzzles, going for a stroller ride, swimming, dancing, learning games. watching kids shows or movies with them.
I have a bubble machine, chalk and many more child friendly activities that I can bring along, or we can utilize yours.

The most important part about being a nanny...
That each and every child I’m responsible for is respected, protected and cared for at all times according to the needs of the parent(s).
That each child remains active, learns as much as possible and is content while in my care.
However, that doesn’t mean no time outs and no consequences. Healthy discipline requires that caregivers offer consistent rewards and’s praise for good behaviors and practice consistent use of non physical punishment for negative unwanted behaviors. For example, biting or screaming.
IMPORTANT Notice: If you do not allow the use of time outs for your 3 year old and/or your older child or children; I will not work with your family. Thank you for your time.

My experience with special needs children...
Currently I volunteer from time to time at an elementary school and help out the first grade class including the special needs students (giving them special attention) during recess and lunch.
I worked for a family of 4 children and one child was diagnosed as Autistic. I worked for them Monday through Thursday 12-5pm and I was a live in nanny.
I have worked with some children who have severe anger issues so that’s not an issue.
For nonverbal children I can and will gladly teach them sign language as well as work on their English. If requested, I can teach beginning Spanish. I adore children and want to help each child in any and every way possible; no matter the obstacles or disability in our way.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think my favorite nanny moment was when a kid that I took care of; drew a picture for me of her and I as penguins. It said sweet things about me like, “I knew you would be the best nanny!”
I’ll always remember the cute drawing and nice review she gave me.
