Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience working in a classroom setting, volunteering for a fourth grade teacher at St. Edward's School. Furthermore, I have spent several hours in childcares facilities. Duties included supervising children playing, ensuring proper safety amongst the children. I prepared lunch and snacks, made sure to follow cleaning guidelines. Allowed space for an established nap time. Assisted children in learning about themselves, their peers, and the world around them.

Indoor activities I enjoy doing with children include art/craft projects, reading, flashcards, and hide and seek! Outdoor activities I enjoy with children include walks, going to the park, picnics, drawing with chalk, and riding bikes.

What matters to me most about being a nanny is the safety/ wellbeing of the child/children. Being attentive to each child's desires, and meeting their needs is important to creating a happy and healthy home.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was celebrating a child's four year old birthday. Weeks before the party, I spent time working with the mother on the theme, (it was dinosaur themed, of course), deep cleaning the home, and collecting presents for the kiddo!
