More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I began babysitting with my mother as a young child (about 11 years old) and when I was older, began to take clients of my own. Outside of babysitting clients I have a lot of experience babysitting family (niece and nephew) as well as my god daughter who is 1 year old. I also completed an internship in an acute psychiatric ward for children and adolescents while in college which gave me experience in crisis with children and ways to assist children in coping with difficult emotions.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am open to doing anything that your child loves! Playing outside, doing crafts, playing games, going to the park. I also am able to assist with any schoolwork or learning.

Is adapting to the individual needs of each child. It is important to not only make sure the children have fun and enjoy life, but learn along the way.
My experience with special needs children...
I did complete an internship at Virginia Baptist Hospital in the child psychiatric ward. This gave me experience with a variety of children with special needs, both intellectual and psychiatric. In addition, my 13 year old niece has autism so I do also have extensive experience personally. My background in psychology and currently working with adults who have intellectual and psychiatric disabilities gives me much knowledge on how to best assist individuals with special needs to live the best life possible

I make sure the house is spotless when the parents come home - from laundry being done, folded and put away to dishes as well! You wont have to worry about cleaning or lifting a finger towards the house after the end of your long work day.
I would definitely need a minimum of 40 hours a week and my time is flexible based on what you need!
