A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Hannah. I have worked as a substitute teacher in a day care usually in the preschool classroom, but sometimes younger. I have switched jobs a bit looking for what I am most passionate about. My latest job involved baking, and now I’m thinking about child care again. My experience working with kids is limited to the time at the day care- which was about 5 months- cut short due to COVID. In caring for a child I think compassion, patients, play, and imagination are very important. There are so many perspectives of how to raise kids and I would be open to learning and even taking classes so that I could implement and support growth in that way. I have taken a class about aspects of autism, and different classroom techniques to support the learning of appropriate behaviors. So I do have the interest and motivation to do my best in supporting individual growth in whatever form that may be for different kids and lifestyles.
