A little bit about me

I'm looking for a full-time nanny position with one family I can stay with long term. Ideally a two child home, with an elementary school aged and an infant or toddler, but I am flexible and open minded.

I started working in an education environment 7 years ago and have never looked back.

My skills include teaching/modeling emotional regulation skills to young children, development of language and social skills, and being experienced with children who have special needs. I am also experienced with kindergarten readiness preparation, Handwriting Without Tears, and am a few short weeks away from becoming credentialed with a CDA. I have spent the last three years as a co lead teacher at The Goddard School of Highland Heights in both the toddler and Pre-K age groups.

I enjoy allowing children to explore their environment or activities independently while I act as a "guide on the side" to them. Children learn best through play and discovery and I enjoy sensory, science, and nature based activities.
