More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as a reading tutor for elementary school aged children. I have also been a babysitter for 11 years, and have experience babysitting 1-4 children of all ages. I have worked as a camp counselor in Port Alsworth, Alaska and have helped with childcare at Grace Church and at Upstate Church in Simpsonville, SC. I have also worked as a volunteer for a children's hospital in Charleston, SC and as a home health aide for two young children with special needs. I plan to start work to be a pediatric physical therapist in August 2025.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Going to the park or other outside activities, doing arts and crafts, playing board games, creating obstacle courses, building forts, playing with toys, and having dance parties!

My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for a child who suffered from a stroke at 18 months and had right hemiparesis as a result. I assisted with safety concerns, such as keeping the home free of obstacles, implementing therapy practices at home, and assisting with feeding and dressing.
The most important part about being a nanny...
This moment occurred when I was having a dance party with twin two year olds that I babysit. When we were dancing and listening to the "Bingo" song, one of the girls started singing "B-I-B-I-B" instead of "B-I-N-G-O". It was so cute and funny!
