I love working with kids and their families to help create a safe, fun, and educational environment, catered to your littles' age and developmental level. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked with kids aged 1 - 3, as an assistant toddler teacher at Woodlands Discovery Preschool, in Holland, MI. I also occasionally sub at Gentex Discovery Preschool.
I also spent two summers working with the Outdoor Discovery Center's Nature Based Summer School Program, we partnered with elementary schools in the West Michigan area to provide summer school outside, using nature based education practices.
Before that, I worked as a floater at Step by Step School for Early Learning in State College, Pennsylvania. Here, I worked mostly with infants and toddlers but occasionally helped out in the preschool rooms.
My first job working in a center was with Milestones Child Development Center as a summer floater, working with all age groups from infants to school aged.
I also have experience babysitting and nannying. I nannied for a family during high school. Currently I babysit for them and other families in the area!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time outdoors with children, as they tend to thrive in natural environments and enjoy exploring and active play. I also enjoy planning fun outings like trips to parks, zoos, and local museums. One of my favorite parts of working with kids is creating safe, engaging crafts, games, and activities tailored to their interests and developmental stage.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is the relationships I build, both with the children and their parents. I love staying in touch with the families I’ve worked with, whether that’s through social media or meeting up for coffee or ice cream. Being apart of their community, supporting them where I can, and being able to watch their littles grow and learn!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are the small, everyday ones, watching their confidence grow, seeing them light up about something they love, or simply joining in with their play. Those moments are what make this work feel meaningful to me.
