More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have extensive hands-on experience caring for children through full-time nanny positions with two wonderful families. One family had two energetic boys, ages six and eight, while the other had a lively household of five children—three girls and two boys—ranging from ages one to eleven. These roles gave me the opportunity to work with a wide range of developmental stages, from infants and toddlers to pre-teens.
My responsibilities included managing busy daily routines such as transporting the children to and from summer camps, sports practices, and other activities, as well as preparing healthy breakfasts and lunches each day. I also planned and facilitated engaging, age-appropriate activities like crafts, outdoor play, scavenger hunts, water games, and quiet time with books and puzzles. In addition to ensuring their safety and well-being, I focused on creating a fun, structured, and nurturing environment where each child felt seen, heard, and supported.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating a balance of fun, learning, and creativity in the time I spend with kids. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, reading storybooks, playing imaginative games, and organizing outdoor adventures like nature walks, scavenger hunts, or sidewalk chalk art. I also enjoy helping with homework, creating DIY projects, and coming up with screen-free games that keep everyone engaged. Whether we’re building a blanket fort or learning something new, I aim to make each day both meaningful and enjoyable.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part about being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, loving environment where children feel supported, understood, and encouraged to be themselves. It's not just about supervising—it's about being a consistent, positive presence in a child's life. That means showing up with patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in who they are and what they need. It also means supporting parents by being reliable, communicative, and adaptable. At the end of the day, knowing I’ve made a child feel cared for and confident is the most fulfilling part of the job.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve had the opportunity to work with children with special needs and have found it to be incredibly rewarding. As a former Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), I was trained in providing patient, individualized care—an experience that has helped me better understand how to support children with varying needs. In past caregiving roles, I’ve worked with children who required extra assistance with communication, sensory regulation, and daily routines. I approach every child with patience, empathy, and flexibility, and I’m always willing to learn from parents, therapists, and educators to ensure consistent and compassionate care. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where each child can thrive at their own pace.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories as a nanny was taking the two boys I cared for on a spontaneous fishing trip. It was one of those simple, unplanned days that turned into something really special. We packed a lunch, grabbed their gear, and spent the afternoon by the water talking, laughing, and learning. Watching their excitement when they caught their first fish—and seeing how proud they were—was such a rewarding moment. It reminded me how important it is to slow down, be present, and create meaningful experiences that kids will remember. Moments like that are why I love being a nanny.
