Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing all activities with children, as long as the parents are okay with it first! Pick out a board or video game, watch a movie or tv show, going outside or to the park, anything the child(s) wants to do, i’m willing to do it! Even if it’s a day to the trampoline park, getting food, or going to soft play, I’m happy to take them out!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being patient and understanding. Things happen, kids will make a mess, kids will have an off day. You cannot expect a child to be happy everyday, but you have to learn to work with them and understand how to help when need be. Children feel every emotion an adult does, they just can’t communicate and comprehend it properly yet.

Throughout the school system and my church, I get the opportunity to work with special needs children and adults. The smarts, kindness, and joy they radiate is such an amazing gift and it’s not an everyday opportunity you get to enjoy their presences.
