Hello, I am a mother of two daughters, Paisley Maye (7 months old) and Payton Faye (5 years old). After becoming a mom, I started an in-home daycare and provided care for several years. Currently, I am looking to expand my services and offer childcare for another family out of my home from Monday to Friday. I am available for flexible hours as long as they exceed 30-40 hours per week. Ideally, I am seeking a full-time position and I am even open to working more than 40 hours a week. I have extensive experience with multiple children, including meal preparation and homework assistance. My schedule is adaptable to your needs and I am a dependable caregiver who rarely takes time off. I have previous experience running my own in-home daycare, where I successfully cared for a group of 11 children. I have obtained 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units, undergone live scanning for background checks, have a clean driving record, and hold current first aid and CPR certifications. Additionally, I have past experience working as a child care coordinator for a daycare facility.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I find great joy in engaging children in arts and crafts activities, such as DIY projects and creating little keepsakes for their parents. I also enjoy incorporating sensory play into our daily routine. Circle time is another favorite of mine, as it allows for interactive and educational group activities.

This includes meeting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs. Additionally, being attentive and responsive to the individual needs and interests of each child, fostering their social and cognitive development, and promoting a sense of curiosity and exploration are also vital aspects of being a nanny. My experience with special needs children...

I have had the opportunity to work with children on the autism spectrum, including one child who was non-verbal and faced significant challenges during their adjustment period. However, through our strong connection and consistent care, this child gradually began to develop verbal skills. Witnessing this transformation was incredibly rewarding for both myself and the child's family. As a result, I hold a special place in my heart for working with and supporting children with special needs.
