I love being outside with children, going on walks, playing in the snow, playing games and playing pretend with them! I also love any arts and craft. Coloring, beading, painting are all super fun activities I love doing!

The most important part of being a nanny to me, is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can grow and thrive. It’s not just about supervision, it’s about building trust, growing a positive relationship, and helping children learn valuable life skills. Every child is unique, so patience, adaptability, and genuine care are key to making a meaningful impact in their lives.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with child who have ADHD and managing challenging behaviors and fostering positive discipline strategies. Sadly I do not have experience in working with autistic children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
During a free time one afternoon, I decided that I would try and color a picture for a little boy who was having a rough day, there was some challenging behavior he was dealing with at the time. I wanted to make something that he would like. It was a drawing of a Minecraft pig with his name on it. Minecraft was something that I knew the boy enjoyed and he talked about it all the time. It was not the best artwork but I showed it to him anyways. He ended up LOVING it and took it with him. I got the biggest hug and he went in with his day. Later that evening, after I had clocked out, I got a text from an his mother, it was a picture of it hanging on their fridge. She said that he HAD to have it hung up on the fridge. It was the sweetest thing and warmed my heart so much!
