Hi, my name is Hayley! I'm 22 years old, and I've been in childcare for about 5 years now. I come from a family of 8, me being the oldest, so I am very experienced in taking care of children. I was a teacher at a local daycare for 3 years! I worked with children age 4 weeks to 12 years, mostly with infants and toddlers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love art! The girls I currently nanny have gained an appreciation for art in all its forms. I love drawing, painting, making jewelry, and playing music with them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I want to make sure the children I take care of are in a safe and happy environment. Most of the time when I was a daycare worker, the kids were with me more than they were with their parents, so I wanted them to have the most positive influence in their lives.

My experience with special needs children...

At my daycare, I had experience caring for children with physical and mental disabilities. I worked closely with a 3 year old non-verbal autistic boy and his mother for almost 2 years, and it helped me to gain more patience and empathy as a childcare worker.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love having a movie night! The girls I nanny always have movies/shows they want to introduce me, and occasionally I'll introduce them to childhood favorites of mine. It gives us more things to bond over! :)
