A little bit about me

My name is Heather and I am 19 years old. I am currently attending Tyler Junior College and I am a member of the Apache Belles Dance Team. I have always loved working with kids and getting to watch them grow and learn new things. During my high school years I volunteer at the elementary schools in my area working the after school program. This included homework help, playing games, teaching them manners, and helping them become the best versions of themselves. I also got the chance to work with the special needs kids at my high school. I got the chance to be hands on with them helping them with their school work, answering any questions that they may of had, and just being a light in their life. I am currently studying Early Childhood education here at Tyler Junior College in hopes that one day I become an teacher. This past fall and what I had of my spring semester I got the chance to work at a local church in my college town as a nursery worker. I worked with kids ages 2M-12YRS.
