I volunteered at my old church watching the kids (age range 3-10) while the adults had their sermon. I’ve babysat for a couple of my parents friends as well. I have no experience in babysitting kids ages 0-2 but I’m always interested in learning more!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy going on walks, coloring, playing games, etc. I grew up watching my brother play soccer and I helped the boys soccer team at my high school so I know the basics of playing soccer! I also grew up doing gymnastics and a little bit of cheer so I have a bit of expertise in that area as well!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to connect with the children is the most important part in my opinion. When I used to watch the kids at my old church, I would change the way I acted/spoke to the children based on their introvert/extrovert personality. By doing so, I was able to make sure to suit their needs while not overwhelming them and while also getting to know them. Connection is my number 1 priority just so we can easily get comfortable around each other and I can suit their needs!
