Hi there! I’m Heather, an aspiring actress with a big heart, lots of energy, and a true passion for working with kids. While I don’t have any formal paid nannying experience just yet, I’ve spent plenty of time around children through theatre camps, musicals, and shows. Whether it’s helping a shy kid come out of their shell or leading a group in a silly warm-up game, I’ve learned how to connect, guide, and have fun with children in creative, meaningful ways.

While I may not have formal nannying experience just yet, I’ve spent years working with kids in ways that have truly shaped my passion for childcare. I’ve had the joy of working with children through musicals, theatre camps, and shows—helping them find their confidence, express themselves creatively, and, most importantly, have fun!

Outside of the spotlight, I’ve been the go-to babysitter for my big, lively family, always jumping in to help wrangle the little ones and keep things running smoothly. These experiences have taught me patience, adaptability, and how to bring a sense of calm and care to even the most energetic environments.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

When it comes to spending time with kids, I love staying active, creative, and fully in the moment! I’m a big movie person—especially kid movies. No matter how old I get, I’ll never be too grown-up for a good animated film and some popcorn. I’ve also played just about every sport out there, so whenever there’s a chance to kick a soccer ball, shoot some hoops, or play a game of tag, I’m all in!

Creativity is a huge part of who I am. I love singing, dancing, coloring, drawing, and coming up with imaginative games. Whether it’s building a blanket fort or putting on a living room talent show, I’m all about making everyday moments fun and engaging. And honestly? I still love playing with toys, it keeps me connected to the joy and wonder kids bring into the world.

I’m all about creating a space where kids can feel free to express themselves, get their energy out, and just be kids!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where kids feel truly seen, heard, and valued. Children need more than just supervision—they need role models. They need people who will be silly and goofy with them, celebrate their imagination, and meet them right where they are. But just as importantly, they need someone who will take the time to understand their emotions, listen to their concerns, and help them navigate the big feelings that come with growing up.

I believe in building genuine connections through patience, empathy, and play. Whether it’s turning chores into a dance party or sitting down to talk through a tough moment, I want each child I care for to feel like they have someone in their corner.

At the end of the day, being a nanny is about heart, consistency, and showing up fully, and I will bring all of that into every family I work with.
