Some of my relevant experience caring for children includes helping out at basketball camps, where I coached and encouraged kids in a fun, supportive environment. I’ve also babysat for family friends, taking care of kids and ensuring they had a safe and enjoyable time. Additionally, I assisted in special needs classrooms, where I worked closely with children, providing the extra support they needed to thrive. Each of these experiences has helped me grow as a caregiver and further deepened my passion for working with children.

I love being outdoors with kids, whether it’s going for a walk, playing in the park, or having a fun adventure. I also enjoy tutoring, helping children with schoolwork in a way that feels fun and engaging. When it comes to sports, I love playing games like basketball or soccer, which not only helps kids stay active but also teaches teamwork and communication.

I think the most important part about being a nanny is making sure every child feels safe, loved, and cared for. It’s about being someone they can laugh with, learn from, and feel completely comfortable around. Kids remember the people who made them feel special, and I’d love to be that person for a family. Whether it’s helping with schoolwork, playing games, or just being a kind and patient friend, I believe those little moments matter most.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve had the opportunity to assist teachers in special needs classrooms, where I learned a lot about patience, understanding, and how to adapt to each child's unique needs. Helping with activities, offering support, and seeing the children grow in their own way was incredibly rewarding. I truly believe that every child, no matter their challenges, deserves a caring, patient presence to help them feel confident and supported. It’s an experience that’s shaped how I approach childcare and made me even more passionate about helping kids of all backgrounds thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I taught a little boy how to play basketball and helped him make his first basket. Watching his face light up when the ball finally went through the hoop was the best feeling. We spent the rest of the afternoon celebrating and playing, and it reminded me how special it is to be part of those little wins in a child’s life. Moments like that are why I love working with kids.
