Hi! I’m a student at the University of Alabama studying Communicative Disorders with the goal of becoming a speech-language pathologist. I have experience working as a summer camp counselor, caring for children of different ages, and helping create a fun, safe, and positive environment for them. I have experience providing childcare for multiple families and caring for several children of different ages. My experience includes supervising children, keeping them entertained, helping with daily routines, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’ve also worked as a summer camp counselor, where I gained additional experience caring for children, leading activities, and keeping them engaged throughout the day.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing all kinds of activities with children, from playing video games and watching movies to making art, doing hair, playing dress-up, and spending time outside. I love getting creative, playing games, and finding fun ways to keep kids entertained. I’m happy to join in on whatever they enjoy doing and help make our time together fun.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a brother with autism who is nonverbal, so I have firsthand experience with the different needs and challenges that can come with caring for a child with special needs. Growing up with him has taught me to be patient, understanding, and attentive to how each child communicates and expresses themselves. I understand that every child is different, and I’m comfortable adjusting to their individual needs, routines, and preferences. I want children to feel safe, included, and comfortable being themselves while in my care.
