A little bit about me

My name is Hila, I am a mom to Lyla, a freshman OSU student. I have experience caring for infants and toddlers, most recently taking care of Maya. I started working with Maya's family when she turned three months, until her first birthday, when she joined daycare. I have experience working with toddlers in different daycare settings, in the US and abroad.

I believe in nurture through communication, warmth, consistency, and age appropriate challenges. When caring for infants, I find talking, listening to music, reading books, playing, looking at flash cards, engaging in sensory activities, encouraging tummy time, taking walks outside, and interacting with other babies all to be very important, each activity promoting a different aspect of development.
Working with toddlers, I follow the same philosophy, with emphasis on education, tactile learning, and gross motor skills development.

I speak fluent English & Hebrew.
