More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a nanny for over 7 years full time for 3 different families. It was an amazing experience, especially living in Hawaii at the time and with their families having alot of trust in me, we were able to explore the island so much! Zoo days, hikes, beach days, finding activity centers. I even taught the little ones basic sign language which helps kiddos at a young age to communicate easily. Since becoming a Sonographer, I work in Pediatrics and care for children of all ages. Whilst working full time as a Sonographer, I still babysat for many families. I am taking two years off from my full time job while I go back to school and work towards becoming a Physician Assistant. I am looking for potentially a full time if not part time nanny position!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I follow a Montessori type approach and love love love teaching children. My degree is in Science so I love doing fun science experiments with kiddos. Art another thing I love doing because it is such a great way for children to explore and express themselves. If able, I love taking them to parks, the zoo, or going to get ice cream or a fun drink. I love to think outside of the box and love crafting up something fun out of boxes like a little hideout spot or tunnels. If I am nannying girls I love to do tea time with them. I enjoy baking as well as cooking. Baking cookies with your little ones is another fun activity! When I am with your children, my mind is completely focused on them and their well being.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Trust. Trust with your child and knowing that you can trust me. I want to be a huge asset to your family and become a great friend to your kiddo/kiddos.

My experience with special needs children...

Working within a hospital I do have experience with special needs children. I have also babysat children with special needs and even children that required medicines or monitoring.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments when I nannied for 4 children all from different families was kind of being a “super mom”. Baby wore one kiddo on the back in a Tula, and one of the front in an Tula. and two in a stroller. Haha! That same day we had wayyyyy too much fun painting and my entire house was covered in paint as well as all the kiddos because they decided to not only Paint the characters from PJ masks but become them! Haha!
