I was a Lead Teacher at La Petite for a year and then another 3 years at a different daycare. I cared for all ages 6 weeks to school age. I am CPR certified and I am used to helping tutor as well as house work.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Going to the park, swimming, biking, any kind of sports really. I also love doing arts and crafts. My favorite is reading books to them and helping them hit their age appropriate milestones.

My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children on all sides of the spectrum and also children with physical disabilities as well as mental. I feel that this is my true calling because I'm taking classes to be a special education teacher. My cousin has an autistic son and I couldn't ask for a better kid. He is amazing. I enjoy getting to spend time with him and getting to know him better. It makes my heart feel full.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My only child that I've nannied so far is a 2 1/2 yr old and we were were building a fort out of pillows for an overnight sleepover and they fell and her face just dropped and she was like oh no I hurt my Hillary. I almost cried because of course I wasn't hurt she just loved me that much
