Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to take the kids that I’m nannying to fun places where they can run around and get some energy out. I also love to do arts and crafts with them. I understand how important it is to stay off the screen and I consider that one of my top responsibilities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Obviously, the number one priority while taking care of children is safety. But I also think that staying off screens and exploring the world around you and continuously learning is one of the most important things. I love making sure that the kids that I watch over are enjoying the world outside of the screen.

My experience with special needs children...

My little cousin is special needs and I have been babysitting him since I was about 14, I had to make sure he was safe and he had all of his medical needs in line. I love to take care of special needs kids, I think that it is so important to keep treating them like a person. In my free time at school I try my best to go help out my friends in the special needs program. I just love seeing how happy those kids get when they are treated like a friend.
