More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Growing up I babysat a lot of kids in my neighborhood. Including my nephew who’s now 9. I cared for him almost everyday after school since I was 14 years old, till I left for college. I spent a lot of time changing his diapers, feeding and playing a lot with him in those years. I feel like I helped raise him… lol Now we’re the best of friends. He doesn’t need so much sitting anymore but I love hanging out with him!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being out side and exploring different bugs and plants with children ! Doing activities outside like going to the park or drawing with chalk on the side walk! I also love being crafty! Doing cute projects or just coloring! It’s fun to see kids imagination! I like helping kids work with their hands and their creativity.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being interactive with the child and seeing progress in them to me is very important! Especially when your spending as much time as you are with them.

My experience with special needs children...

I do have some experience working with special needs children in high school. I was a teachers assistant and through that program I got to connect and understand many special needs students . I also have a cousin with autism and we get to hang out every once in a while and he’s the absolute best.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It warms my heart to receive just genuine laughs and smiles from kids! They make it all the work worth it. It’s also a huge compliment when a baby or child just likes you in general! I love being a being a kid’s favorite adult! Lol
