This quote sums me up! I love teaching and educating children. I made a career of being a professional nanny since I never settle down and had my own children. Almost 30 years! They continually surprised me and I learn a lot from them. Sometimes I think they teach me more about life than I teach them. The rewards and fulfillment I get from taking care of them speaks volumes! I want to put good people out in the world, and strive to do my best to prepare them for it!

When a child had to have a time out after hitting somebody and realizing that they needed to apologize, previous to the time out, they had accidentally hit somebody and we had a discussion. It took some/several times before the child decided that he would come out of the time out, and finally apologize, but the next time it happened, the apology was immediate.
