I enjoy being out in nature, taking walks, going to the beach, swimming, boating, picnics, hiking. I also enjoy painting, reading, music, going to concerts, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

I have extensive experience working with children, and adults with special needs. I have worked as a para-educator with special needs students ranging in age from 2 years old up to 65 years old. I was once hired to plan a trip to Disneyland for a 65-year-old developmentally disabled client, and accompanied him as his caregiver on a 5-day trip.

My main goal is to teach your child as well as keep them safe. I understand there is a literacy problem in the USA so I’m really focused on teaching phonics and basic math skills. I don’t believe that kids should be sitting in front of a screen all day, it hurts their brain development more than people realize. When I watch kids I only allow 1 hour of supervised screen time.
I also encourage kids to eat healthy, I’m a no bs sitter. I have explained to the pickiest of kids why they have to eat the meal that has been prepared for them and I guess when you break down the nutritional facts and explain how each component helps them grow, they stop fighting about meal times.
