A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Honor. I am 28 years old! I have been working in childcare since 2015. In high school, I babysat for teachers during meetings and for a few families on the weekends. In 2018 and 2019, I prepared and taught an arts and crafts class for preschoolers. Also during that time, I taught at a Reggio Emilia preschool working with kids ages 2 to 6. From 2020 to 2022 I was the full-time nanny for two little girls ages 11 months and 4 years old. My primary responsibilities were: playing, feeding, and cleaning up after them. I was also responsible for dropping the older girl at preschool. Most recently I have babysat here and there for family and friends.

I am creative, patient, loving, and joyful. I love making crafts and cooking. I am a non-smoker and have a clean driving record. Lastly, I am happy to help with household tasks as needed.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

- Working as a preschool teacher for ages 2 to 6.
- Planning, organizing, and teaching an arts and crafts class that allowed the children to be creative in their own ways.
- Working as a camp counselor for kids in grades 5th to 12th.
-Being the second eldest of five kids and being a mothers helper all of my life, helping with anything from cooking to cleaning to school pick-ups and drop-offs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy being outside in nature with kids, seeing them grow and explore the beautiful earth. Since working as a preschool teacher I can easily say that reading with children is an absolute joy! I also enjoy teaching the kids how to create, whether that be through paints and glitter or toys and their imaginations.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Patience is the most important part about being a nanny because every child is different. Every child learns, loves, matures in different ways and at different paces. So being patient allows the child to be grow and be comfortable, but ultimately loved.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not had the privileged working with children with special needs, but I'm here to adapt in any way possible to better suite you family and your child(ren).

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment with any child is when they connect you and your face and your name to joy. Whether it was my arts and crafts kids or my preschool kids, building that trust that brought smiles to their faces and questions to their minds as soon as I entered the room was my very favorite.

Hilary H. - Seeking Work in Waco

Full-Time Nanny Available in Waco, TX: Hilary H.

Hi! My name is Hilary and I recently graduated from Baylor University this past December. I’ve always had a natural love for being around kids, as an aunt to my nieces and nephews, who I absolutely adore spending time with. Whether it’s playing, helping with routines, or just being present with them, I genuinely enjoy creating a fun, safe, and caring environment for children.

I’m patient, attentive, and nurturing, and I love being someone kids can feel comfortable and happy around. While I don’t have children of my own, caring for little ones has always been something that comes naturally to me, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m excited about the opportunity to support families and provide dependable, loving care.
