I have paid experience caring for children with special needs, including autistic children, children who are blind, and children with physical disabilities. I am also the parent of an autistic 8-year-old, which has given me additional hands-on experience, patience, and understanding in supporting diverse developmental needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was teaching a 2-year-old to use the potty. After weeks of trying, we moved her potty outside, and she finally went! We were both ecstatic, and it made my heart so full.
