"Hope is very patient and kind. At the same time she is well aware of the expectations of a caregiver. She is knowledgeable of specific standards associated with meals and acceptable boundaries for children and she realizes them in a seamless way. As a bonus, she is an exceptional artist and loves coloring and doing crafts with children. If she is with my children, I know they are going to have a good day!"

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered in church camps and nurseries doing general arts and crafts with the children and would help set up birthday parties or holiday parties for the kids. I would also serve snacks and set up games for them to play. In high school,I would volunteer during their after school program and assist children with homework. I would also work elementary football games, baseball games, science nights and beauty pageants. I helpedmy friends babysit and have recently picked up nannying where I do housework, meal prep, bath time, diaper changes, arts and crafts, and field trips. When working in childcare centers,I was tasked with making curriculum and teaching it to the children, cleaning and organizing the classrooms, potty training and diaper changes, recording the children’s activities, and planning holiday parties and games for the children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Field trips! I love going places and I love taking children to water parks, zoos, farms, etc. I love holidays as well (Christmas is my favorite) so I love to do holiday themed activities with children. I’m excited for Fall. Pumpkin patches and pumpkin carving is always fun!
My experience with special needs children...
I have a years experience working with children on the autism spectrum and children with cerebral palsy. I am PCM certified (deescalation and safely restraining) and I know how to tube feed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is when the kids tell me they love me or when they tell me that they miss me when I’m gone for an amount of time. It makes me feel like I am doing what I am supposed to be doing.
