Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve worked at a daycare it has been one of the most rewarding and enriching experiences of my life. I had the opportunity to care for and engage with children from infants to preschoolers in a nurturing and stimulating environment. My responsibilities included supervising playtime, leading age-appropriate activities, assisting with meals and nap routines and ensuring the overall safety and well-being of each child. I enjoyed creating and leading interactive learning experiences such as circle time, arts and sensory play, that kept children engaged but also supported their cognitive, emotional, and social development. I formed strong bonds with the children and worked closely with families to maintain consistent routines and provide personalized care.
This experience taught me patience, flexibility, and importance of clear communication. It also deepened my understanding of early childhood development and reinforced my passion for working with kids in a caring, educational setting.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

1. Nature Walks & Scavenger Hunts – Exploring parks or trails while looking for specific leaves, or rocks 2. Baking Together -Making cookies or simple cupcakes, and letting the kids decorate them. 3.Arts & Crafts – Creating things with paper, paint, stickers, or recyclables. 4.Building Forts – Using blankets and pillows to build cozy indoor forts. 5. Story Time Adventures – Reading books with silly voices or acting out stories.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me the most important part about being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with the child and their family. That foundation of trust allows you to provide consistent care, emotional support, and a safe environment where the child can grow, learn, and feel loved. I also think having Patience and understanding (Kids have big emotions and need gentle guidance.)Being reliable and responsible. Creating a nurturing, fun, and educational environment. And last but not least, Good communication and I feel like that plays a role for boy the parents and the kids!
