My first work/volunteer experience was at The Y in the kid center with kids ranging from 6 months to 10 years old. Then my first job was at a school doing afterschool care for kids from kindergarten to 5th grade. Then I helped do light teaching/playing at a daycare for kids ages 2-6. I now work at a school as a one on one aide for a special needs, the kids are in kindergarten to 3rd

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

games, I was in theatre as a kid so anything in that realm is fun to me, I do love math I unlike many find it entertaining kids may not😭but i usually would play “school” and they would eventually find it fun in some aspect😭 I’ve gotten into crocheting and tried to teach my little sister or just make her random beanies

My experience with special needs children...

I work in a class of 10+ children with varying degrees and different types of autism, where I have a specific child to help Monday through Friday. I also help around with the other kids in mine and other classrooms.
