More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In my roles as a nanny, I have cared for children from infancy through school age, often looking after multiple children at once. I have experience with newborn care routines, toddler developmental milestones, and supporting older children with homework, extracurricular activities, and social development.I worked in a daycare setting in the infant and toddler room, providing care for children as young as 6 weeks to 3 years old. This experience gave me a strong foundation in early childhood development, including implementing daily routines, engaging children in age-appropriate learning activities, and managing a safe and nurturing environment. My experience as a household manager involved not only overseeing daily household operations but also providing direct care to children. This included organizing educational and recreational activities, managing their schedules, preparing healthy meals, and ensuring their overall well-being in a structured, supportive environment.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in a variety of fun and educational activities that foster creativity, development, and joy. Some of my favorite activities include:
I enjoy taking children on nature walks, hikes, and trips to the park where we can explore, play, and learn about the environment. I enjoy organizing activities such as painting, drawing, making collages, and creating seasonal crafts.I love reading stories to children and encouraging them to engage with the narrative.I enjoy setting up sensory activities like playing with kinetic sand, water play, or sensory bins filled with different textures.I enjoy involving children in simple cooking and baking.I like introducing children to mindfulness practices and yoga, which help them learn to relax, focus, and manage their emotions.Conducting simple, fun science experiments is another activity I enjoy.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children feel loved, understood, and encouraged to explore and grow. This involves more than just meeting their basic needs; it's about being a consistent presence in their lives, understanding their unique personalities, and fostering their emotional, social, and cognitive development. Building trust and a strong bond with both the children and their parents is crucial, as it forms the foundation for open communication and effective teamwork. A nanny plays a pivotal role in a child's life, helping shape their experiences, values, and sense of security, which is why being attentive, empathetic, and adaptable is essential in this role.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with special needs, including those with neurodivergence, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In these roles, I have developed a compassionate and individualized approach to caregiving, focusing on creating a supportive, structured, and nurturing environment that meets each child’s unique needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I was caring for a toddler who was just beginning to learn how to speak. We were in the middle of a playful, imaginative game, pretending to be explorers on a big adventure. Out of nowhere, the little one, with a look of pure excitement and concentration, put together a full sentence for the first time, describing what they imagined seeing on our adventure. The joy and pride on their face were unforgettable. It was such a rewarding experience to witness a milestone moment and to be a part of fostering their language development and imagination. Moments like these remind me why I love being a nanny—helping children grow and learn while being a part of their everyday discoveries and triumphs.
