Working with children I always feel like a big sister role but with discipline when needed and the children grow to respect that. I started working as a teacher assistant. Working with children five years of age and under.It’s really beautiful to see the development of their personalities. Like from infant mode to them becoming their own person, I swear it’s when they learn to walk they just take off with everything. We included meal prep, diaper changes, curriculum, outdoor play, etc. The latest positions I’ve held were being a behavior health technician. We work 1 on 1 with students that have autism. Which included data collection, overall just the work we do is setting the children up to be functional on their own one day. In every case that is not always certain so we provide the best support needed for them and their parents. P.s. the pay rate I added is just an average of what we get paid but that is negotiable. I would prefer $18-$24
