As one of 6 kids I've gained tons of experience with multiple different ages. Besides from family, I babysat for a few different families. The ages of those kids ranged from 1-7 years old. I have also been a swim instructor for kids 3-16!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some of my favorite hobbies to share with the kids I look after include building forts, playing lava monster, painting/coloring, playing pretend at the park, dress-up, dancing, and so much more! As creative as we can get, the better! Some developmental activities I find fun and important are learning safe ways to cook, clean, and maintain self care!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part about being a nanny is to ensure that the kids know they're safe. Being looked after by someone other than your parents is scary and it is so crucial that they can be themselves and comfortable doing so :)
