A little bit about me

I have been working in childcare for the past 6 years with ages 8 months to 12 years old. I am currently in grad school for clinical mental health and will be done in December. During that time I have been able to do an internship at a middle school where I worked with 6-8th graders doing one on one counseling. I am currently an RBT and work with children on the spectrum but looking for something more consistent Monday to Friday. I love kids and know a little bit of Spanish. I focus on gentle parenting even though I do not have children do my own, that is how I tend to interact with children. I also believe in treating children like human beings and treating them with respect and allowing them to try things on their own before helping. I am CPR certified and have experience in both special needs, autism, and mental health needs of children.
