What is important is to always be there for the children the ups and downs. Being patient is key for everyone because that is the way to work with them. Partaking in their activities and fitting with what they love to do is also important it’s a good way to help keep them productive.

I have two cousins one with Down syndrome and the other with autism who is a bit verbal. I am very patient with them especially when it comes to communication, and needs. I love to try and work with them whenever I am around.
