I’ve spent the past eight years working with children in a variety of roles that combine care, education, and fun. I was a camp counselor at the Ocean Institute and have worked at more than four summer camps, leading activities that inspired curiosity and confidence. I’ve tutored Spanish for the past four years, worked as a naturalist at the Environmental Nature Center in Newport Beach, and coached sports, helping kids build teamwork and resilience. In addition, I’ve volunteered with organizations like UNICEF and supported child development programs abroad, gaining a global perspective on education and care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite experiences was working at a Marine Biology Summer Camp. I loved teaching children about our planet and serving as a mentor, but what stood out most was seeing the excitement carry over beyond camp. Some kids would come back the next day eager to share the research they had done on their own, while parents would tell me their child was still talking about camp a week later. Moments like these reminded me how much of an impact curiosity, learning, and encouragement can have on kids.
