A little bit about me

I am an 18 year old girl on her journey to gain experience towards my career goals. I aim to be an adolescents social worker & the reason I'm choosing that path is because I have become very skillful in taking care of individuals that have been unable to take care of themselves. Since I was young I had an autistic sister who I learned to do everything for. While still taking care of her; at 14 my aunt was working often and had trusted me to take care of her 3 little ones in Orange County. Although they came off as untamed to everyone else, when I took them under my wing they were complete angels. I know that's not the case for all children but I am very confident when it comes to problem solving & knowing how to create a safe space. Last year is when I sadly had to part ways with them due to moving but I genuinely miss it & hope to find a connection like that with a new family.
