A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Bella! I’ve been babysitting for multiple children of different ages since I was 13, and I’ve worked in 2 different childcare facilities for extended periods of time. I adore kiddos and do my best to ensure that they are happy, engaged, and safe, while they are in my care. I love doing crafts and creative sensory activities for young children. Additionally have a history in comfort care for geriatrics, and am therefore well versed in daily household chores, such as but not limited to, light cleaning, meal prep, laundry, and hygienic care for both children and adults. I’ve completed 2 years of my degree in early childhood education at Onondaga Community College, but paused in 2022 to help take care of my ailing Grandfather with Parkinson’s disease. I’ve worked as a Teaching assistant at two different childcare facilities, World of Wonder in Camillus, and then Shining Stars in Manlius. I’ve also babysat regularly for 10+ different families since I was 13.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts, along with various sensory activities for babies and toddlers. As far as outside goes I try to get all their energy out by going for walks, playing with chalk, and other yard toys. I love to construct obstacle courses to get the kids up and moving and using their brains.
