Being able to help my family in need to take care of my sister was always an honoring experience. My mother wasn’t in the picture so I had to step in as an older sister and take care of her while my father was at work. It began at the age of 7 and my sister was 2 years old at the time. Now, we have the best relationship and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

I love to do arts and crafts, games, honestly anything! I’m open to any activity that the child is interested in as long as it’s safe. That could be baking cookies, watching movies, board games, or going on a walk to the park!

The most important part about being a nanny is respecting the rules of the parents and household. I also find it important to making sure the child feels comfortable and welcomed by me and is able to open up, to have a new friend, and have a good time!

As I don’t have much experience as a professional nanny, I would say my favorite moment babysitting my sister was when we watched a movie together, but built a fort beforehand. She and I had so much building the fort together, and had a great time watching a movie as sisters.
