I worked three summers at Grandma's House daycare in Hartland, WI. I also accomplished my student teaching in Green Lake, WI. working with first grade and kindergarten classes.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing and teaching new board/card games to children. I also enjoy anything that has to do with physical activity and anything outside! I love sports and played college softball at Ripon!

My experience with special needs children...

At Grandma's House daycare I worked 1 on 1 with a child with autism for a period of time. This child was very interested in board games and we played them all day long. We also brainstormed effective and attainable strategies to help him with his behavior.
