Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to go on adventures/field trips (the zoo, aquarium, planetarium, etc). I love to do projects like art, baking, and more. Going on walks or bike rides is always fun, being outdoors is my favorite. I also enjoy relaxing time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I just love getting to work with kids! I love getting to spend time with them and make a difference in their lives. I also love being able to help the family by taking some responsibilities off their plate so that they can provide for their family.

My experience with special needs children...

This is a yes and no type thing. I have lots of experience but I also don't, it might make sense in a moment. My aunt was born with cerebral palsy, so she couldn't see, talk, or walk. Since she was my aunt, she was obviously years older than me, but she was 100% dependent on others. Because of her, I have a deep love for special people like her. For a few years, I was a primary teacher aid for a little boy with down syndrome (LDS primary class) and would help give him the attention and help that he needed so that he was distracting the rest of the kids and the teachers could focus on them. I really loved that church calling.
